Vacancies  -  MSM group

The group has no vacancies. In special circumstances a supernumerary (Ph.D) position may be granted. We are particularly interested in candidates of proven excellence and with experience in (developing) scanning probe techniques at low temperatures for reseach in the areas of triplet superconductivity and graphene.
 

• Postdoc position nanomagnetism and spins    Position suspended due to budget cuts
  The group is starting a new line of research in the direction of spin/thermo-electric effects and domain wall motion in (sub-)micron strucured ferromagnets and ferromagnet / normal metal hybrids. For this we are looking for a postdoc with clear and relevant experimental experience, for instance in magnetotransport experiments in small structures, MFM characterization, e-beam lithography and magneto-optical experiments. Guidance of beginning Ph.D. students will be part of the work; a Ph.D. from a European country is preferred,  and command of english should be well above average.
